Why this exists

Global AI directories answer “what does this tool do?”. For an Indian business the harder questions come next: can I pay in rupees, will I get a GST invoice, does my data stay in India, does it understand Hindi or Tamil? AIproducts.in tracks those answers alongside the usual details.

The India-readiness score

Each tool gets one point for every check it passes, out of 7:

The score drives the default sort order. It is deliberately blunt — it tells you how much friction to expect, not whether the tool is good. Editorial quality is a separate 0–5 rating.

How the data is kept current

Every listing carries a “last checked” date. A script (npm run check-freshness) flags listings older than 30 days and dead links; those get a manual re-review. India-readiness data is compiled by our editors from public vendor information and may be out of date. Verify GST invoicing, data residency and pricing with the vendor before you buy.

Listings & money

Basic listings are free. Vendors can pay for fast-track review, a “Featured” slot, or a “Sponsored” placement — all clearly labelled. Some outbound links are affiliate links. None of this changes a tool’s India-readiness score or its watch-outs; if a paid tool is weak, the page says so.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and tools are useful. It runs in Consent Mode: no analytics cookies are set until you press “Accept” on the banner, and until then only anonymous, cookieless pings are sent. Declining keeps it cookieless. We don’t run ad tracking, and we don’t sell data. To change your choice, clear this site’s storage in your browser and reload.

Corrections

Vendor or reader spotted something wrong? Tell us via the submit page or email info@aiproducts.in, and we’ll fix it and bump the “last checked” date.
